I chose Watkins House By Cliftonvalley for its proximity to Llandaff Cathedral, which I really wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the fully hands-free management service offered by the hotel. The free WiFi throughout the property was a great perk, and I also loved that there was a Spar corner shop within walking distance and the highly rated Hare & Hounds pub just down the road.
Limited creature comforts in the house. Noisy stairs for light sleepers.

The location was wicked, just a short walk to Cardiff City Centre. We also visited the Steam History Museum, which was sick and had loads of cool stuff from Swindon's railway history. The house itself was spacious and clean, with big bedrooms and a bathroom on each floor. It was perfect for a group of friends like us!
The only thing that could've made our stay even more epic is if there was a party room or a cool hangout spot in the house. We're young and love to party, so having a dedicated space for that would've been sick.

The value for money at Watkins House was excellent, with spacious and comfortable rooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, with a supermarket just a 2-minute walk away and a quiet neighborhood despite being centrally located. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with a greater variety of options.

Stayed here for Christmas and had a great time! The house was sparkling clean and had plenty of space for our family. Loved having a toilet on each floor, especially with younger guests. The supermarket was just a 2-minute walk away, making it super convenient for all our food and supplies. Despite being in the city center, the neighborhood was surprisingly quiet. , the house had a lovely garden space that we enjoyed!
Just a few minor things to mention. It would have been nice to have a small towel each, in addition to the large ones provided.

The whole house was perfect for our family with 3 bedrooms and a private back garden. We felt right at home!
Personally, we found the lack of parking a bit inconvenient. However, others may not mind this.

the bathrooms were well-maintained and had steaming hot showers. the kitchen was well-equipped, and there was plenty of crockery. the property was also beautifully designed, with lots of windows that let in ample natural light.
The stairs in the house were quite creaky and noisy, which might disturb light sleepers.

I always stay at a great place, they remember me. First time I forgot something, the staff helped with returning it. It suits me: Wi-Fi, electric kettle, kitchen stuff, flat-screen TV. I keep coming back for business.

As bike riders, we loved the brilliant location just a 2-minute walk away from a supermarket. The house was spotlessly clean and had lots of space for our family. The quiet neighborhood was surprising given its central location. The house had a lovely outside garden space and was bright and airy. Plus, having a toilet facility on each floor was perfect for younger guests staying.
We felt so at home during our stay that we have no reason to complain.

Lovely property with free parking, a local shop nearby, and just a short drive to the city center. Couldn't ask for more!
Who needs clean rooms when you can wait until 7pm to unpack? Such a treat!
